Today is a beautiful day.
I awoke feeling better than I have in days. I’m not well yet, but I feel better. It’s promising, in the least. I’m still tired and have some occasional dizziness, but I feel more energized.

The sun is shining. It is a warm, cloudless, azure skied day. The birds chorused outside the window this morning. The lizards and the ants are industriously working in the garden. George planted a lemon tree in the backyard this morning.

I made a pot of my favourite green tea this morning and shared it with George.

We sat with his parents and talked about the many ways we could improve the house and property. If we are going to live here for a while, it would be nice if we could help them with home improvements. As soon as I am well enough, George and I shall seek out a contractor to help us redo the kitchen. It is tiny and in poor shape. Unfortunately, the house is a double brick construction that is not conducive to tearing down walls and shifting room sizes. To do this cost efficiently, I am planning to leave the walls where they be and work around the size by making the interior more efficient. I have some sketches done that the Parents have approved.
I also want to plant a small Carol garden. I would like dill, cilantro, basil, chive, scallion, Roma tomato and those little yellow pear-shaped tomatoes. It would be great to have red capsicum (peppers) and cucumbers too. We’ll see.
So much to do. I have great thoughts and plans in my head, I just need to be well enough to do them. More lessons in patience.
