* age: ancient... as old as the hills
* where on earth do you live: a cosmic little place, Eugene.
* reason behind your LJ username: because it's my name. Original, eh?

* five things you want to do/accomplish before you die:
-Leave the world a better place than when I found it.
-Bring a little peace to the universe, or at least my little neighborhood.
-Create a safe happy place for people to spend time, relax, have a laugh and be themselves
-Become a sage
-Live my life filled with happiness, laughter and love.

* what makes you happy: my friends/family/puppies, a good laugh, beauty (in its pure form: a mountain, a sunset, a genuine smile, the way someone goes out of their way to make a special meal for someone else, just because. All of that, and more, is pure beauty to me).

* what have you been listening to lately: When I was moving to Australia, I turned all my cds into mp3s and put them on my computer. I have my whole collection on there and I usually just hit "play all" but I have noticed I'm favouring my '70's funk lately. Just a mood, I guess. It certainly is motivating me in the bathroom renovation.

* do you enjoy reading my LJ: But, of course!

* if so, why: I love to listen to how your mind works. I really appreciate the diversity of our friend group, we all have such different minds. Your brain is wired so differently, I love to hear it in action. You think of amazing things in amazing orders. Sometimes we have the same answer or action, but your process is so different than mine. I think you're brilliant and genuinely kind, and I am honoured to be a part of your life. Besides, you make me laugh... a lot!

* interesting fact about you: I feel like my life is an open book, I can't imagine that there is anything you don't already know about me. I'm sure there is, but I just can't think what they might be. I guess I'd say that it is interesting that I don't like responsibility. If you know me, then you know I am always dubbed, "the responsible one." Secretly, it both amuses and frustrates me because I am tired of being responsible. I seem to be good at it and I can't stand to see something not done well, so I end up rushing in and being the responsible one. I'm trying to learn that I needn't take responsibility for everything. It's hard for me, but I'm starting to delegate and allow others to help me. I'd say it's my Mother's fault because that's how she raised me, but I'm the type that takes responsibility for my own actions, so I can't even pass the blame. *sigh* It's my lot in life... it's not a lot, but it's my life. *grin*

* are you in love at the moment: Most definitely. I'm surrounded by love.

* favorite destination: Wow, just one? Can't possibly pick just one. I could maybe narrow it down to 100... maybe.

* favorite quote: I have so many that I've made a quotes list in my computer and I rotate through them all for my sig files. Pay attention to my emails and you'll see them all.
