I was just going through last weeks mail and discovered a really pleasant surprise. There was this really beautiful card of the Sisters mountains from a man I don’t even know who thanked me for mailing him his driver’s license. I had found it up in a parking garage in Portland a couple of weeks ago and sent it off to him. I wasn’t expecting a thank you. What a lovely surprise. I just love when my faith in humanity’s humanity is justified.
