I did manage a bit of my own enlightened imagery a bit later. We were both reading in bed, still tittering over the traded comments when I noticed his hand in profile against the lamp light.
"Well, at least my hands are industrious and are dependably good for a lot of things. Your very specialized hands are much like Scottish bagpipes."
Well they are. They're puffy, oddly shaped and G's full of whiney hot air.
