Yay! Orycon!
I'm so excited for Orycon this year. I feel like my life has been this great swell of emotion and chaos bookended by last year's Orycon and this. I'm confident that everything is beginning to settle and that all the silliness will swell into joyous laughter in the coming months.
The boys are off taking Ann-Marie and Risa to CostCo to gather snacky bits. I have decided to stay home and finish all my cooking. I'm going to cook everything in the fridge so nothing spoils over the weekend. Some I'll be taking to the con, the rest will be here for dinner Sunday night. Plus, Flex is expecting a package in the mail and someone needs to be here to sign for it. It's all good. Hopefully, Risa will return with the boys and I can spend a little time with her.

dreadygoddess's company for dinner tonight. *squee*
I'm so looking forward to my little 3-day vacation. My two rules for this weekend are:
1. No drama. Any drama happens, I'm walking. It's been too emotionally intense this past year. I want one full weekend without it so I can better deal with life when I return Sunday night.
2. All fun and laughter.
Plus, I'll be so happy to have so many of my friends in one place for the whole weekend I fully intend to heap them all on the hotel floor, jump on top and roll in them.
Okay, I need to check on my dahl and add the tomatoes and carrots. Yum!
