Okay, this is just sad. I was so excited a day or so ago to discover the Rich Text Editor in LJ. I clicked that button that switches everything to rich text. Now that I'm using it, though, it keep placing the html on different lines and stuff. I don't want to use it any more. I tried to click the "switch" back to plain text mode button and the mouseover says "javascriptvoid(0);" It won't give me back the regular mode. I've tried logging out, rebooting and several other things. I want plain text back. I tried to look it up in the FAQ, but by all accounts, clicking that button should work, and it doesn't. Is it just me? Or do I need to open a question file with LJ?

This is why I don't use the RT mode-and type out the HTML.
Wish LJ had fixed that bug instead of creating new bells and whistles.

I clicked on it on a whim and now I regret having done so. There was no warning that it was irreversable.

I'm also saying that there is, somewhere in the LJ help files, a FAQ telling you how to change from rich text to the old way and back again.
I know it's frustrating and I'm trying to help you.

Re: somewhere in the help files
I've scoured the FAQ's and can't find a thing to that effect. I've tried several ways of doing it. I'm beginning to think it may be my computer. I'm going to look into my browser to see if that's the problem.

Which browser are you using?
