Poor Dina

That booster shot yesterday really made her arm sore. Poor baby crawled up into my arms and shook and whimpered for quite a while before finally falling asleep with her head next to mine on the pillow. She's still whimpery and shakey this morning. I switched out my ball for a regular chair so I could cuddle her on my lap while working. She's quietly resting in the moment. I gave her an extra hot meal this morning with turmeric to help with inflammation. I decided against taking the prescription anti-inflammatory the vet wanted to give her yesterday. Now I'm not so sure that was a good choice. I will see how she progresses through the day. I'm hoping the natural herbs will take more of the edge off so I won't have to resort to meds. She's going to receive a whole lot of lovin' today.
