Weekend frivolity

I had a marvelous brunch with dreadygoddess yesterday. We were happily surprised to see Rochelle there and invited her to join us. We had a wonderful conversation and then went off to the dog park armed with the classified section and searched for possible new places for Dready.

My evening consisted of a room FULL of friends. We really need a bigger kitchen/dining area to accommodate all our loved ones. Someday soon, the perfect property will rise up to greet us for the right price and we'll build our sweet, sweet Chateaux Avalonne. With a moat. And a troll operating a drawbridge. With turrets and a trebuchet. Oh, and a dungeon, of course. *cackles with glee*

Right now, I'm poised on the kitchen counter (typing on Maxine -- isn't it great having such a portable little computer that I can bring her right into the kitchen with me while I work?) waiting for the kettle to bring my water to the perfect temperature for tea while I cut onions, garlic and lemon for my contribution to this afternoon's barbecue at Barker Forest. More fun and friends. *contented sigh*
