- I now consider my grass beyond overgrown. It's taller than the puppies and it's only been 1.5 weeks since I last cropped it.

- Most of my baby mint starts died over the weekend while I was gone. *pout*

- Learning new accounting software for a different company certainly slows the wheels of progress on my long list of duties.

- I woke with a sore throat Tuesday morning but I kicked it's butt outta the ballpark and I'm fine. Rar!

- I finally saw a professional about the big dent in my right calf. It's not an absess or anything scary *phew*. I must have concussed my foot/calf region at some point which resulted in the muscles and tendons trying to migrate north to escape the southern regions. Hopefully, the unsightly concavity will be gone within the month.

- I feel a bit depressed for no good reason.

- The wonderful tea I'm drinking is helping me make it through my morning.

Peace.
The facts: I'm working on the dining room table. I turn to look outside and see a cat sitting proudly upon a stack of cusions on a chest on the deck. This is a spot that Aldina loves to perch upon for hours durning the day. Today, she happens to be inside. Normally, the girls chase and bark at the cats. I've seen both this cat and a big black one happily there on the chest may times in the last month. Every time I move in the house, they scatter.

The question: Why do cats who know this is the double barking dog house choose to relax on my deck? Not that I mind, but I don't make a habit of lounging in places where I'm not wanted. Clearly, the girls don't want the cats in their yard, still, the cats come. I don't really leave any food for them, so I'm not sure what the allure of my deck is.
