I'm still alive...

... I have simply been very busy and not had any computer time. It's been a very hectic few weeks with appointments starting at 8am with 1 hour commutes attached to them. I've been up before the sun every day and we're both very tired. We're, generally speaking, fine. Just tired. We've actually canceled tomorrow's appointments and decided we are in need of a day of rest before we begin again on Saturday morning.

Things are superb with the Family. We've been actually enjoying the time we spend with his parents. I still don't understand a lot of what's being said, but G is able to pause and summarize at intervals. I am included with words in English whenever they can think of them. G and I both feel really good about this trip. I could relate stories of a number of touching moments we shared, but I shan't bore you with those in the moment. Suffice it to say, I believe there is a good foundation for positive growth. I don't know how it happened. I can't analyze what changed, but I'm not going to be looking this gift horse too closely in the mouth. I'm too busy reveling in these moments and trying to further good spirits.
