I've spent copious amounts of time tending to Morgana and giving her Reiki and lots of love and attention. She is in pain but, as is her style, handling it very well. She is such a wonderful being. I love and respect her so much and am so grateful that she is a part of my life. I don't know how I could have made it trough some of my rough patches without her strength and love.
The doctor opened her and found the lump was attached to one of her mammary glands. She decided to be safe and removed the whole mammary gland. Basically, Morgana had a mastectomy. I'm having the lump and the gland sent to a laboratory to have it analyzed. I should receive the results today or tomorrow at the latest. She has stitches to be removed in 10 days and a follow-up. She is moving around okay, though it is obviously very painful and uncomfortable. Adlina has been very supportive. She is not bothering Morgana at all, she has been giving her licks and lots of space. I must say, Aldina is maturing into quite a nice young lady. Who would have suspected it from the little punk we adopted two years ago?
So, that is our Morgana update for now. It has been stressful, and I won't be able to fully relax until I receive those test results, but I'm optimistic they will be fine.
I bought my tickets today for Sydney. We are leaving on Thanksgiving day. We are using our accumulated airline miles so we didn't have too much choice. I dread the flight. Two days of discomfort and unhappiness at high altitudes. Ick.
One of my D&D group sent this test to me to determine what kind of character I would be. I've never played this before, but if you are curious, here is my test result:
