1. beading:
   I've been beading since I was a child. Beading lead to my interest in jewelry which put me on my career path. Being a modelmaker and silversmith for a decade professionally was great, but I am really happy returning to my initial love of colours and gems. This girl, she likes her bright, shiny objects, she does.
2. creativity:
   What would I be without creativity? What's not to love about it?
3. flirting:
   Ah, flirting. Innocent flirting between friends or even strangers is uplifting. It makes people feel good. I can tell a woman I pass on the sidewalk that her scarf enhances the colour of her beautiful blue eyes and maybe make her day. Maybe she'll smile and feel good for a while. I love to flirt. Flirting makes people feel wanted, desired, beautiful. And there is, in my opinion, not nearly enough of that in this world.
4. hats:
   Hats are fun! They can be costumey, goofy, playful, romantic... I love them!
5. laughing:
   Those of you who know me will understand that laughter is key to my sanity. I would buckle under the pain if it weren't for laughter. I always need to find the funny or optimistic side of things or I'd just spend all my time in bed weeping. Besides, anyone who has heard my laugh also understands that is comes from deep within my soul.
6. mythology:
   Mythology is the history of our faith and science development. Myths are the stories we created to explain why stuff happens and how things came to be. They are fun, exciting and lend insight to our development. What's not to love?
7. purple pens:
   I have to use black pens all the time. Blue is blasé. Red is raucous and I'm trained to think red means bad grammar, spelling, badly balanced checkbooks and wrong answers on tests. Purple pens are exciting. They are close enough to blue to be accepted on official stuff and they are different enough to make me happy. Really, I'm quite easy to make happy, eh?
8. scented flowers:
   Flowers are pretty. Period. They are lovely to look upon without question. But, when I lean in to smell a flower, if it blesses me with lovely perfume, it can make my whole day. I am genetically forced to smile. Life is good.
9. streams:
   I just love the sound of burbling, running water. One of my favourite places when I was a child was this cemetary near me that had a little stream running through it. I would sit there for hours with a packed lunch and a good book, relaxing in the dappled shade, listening to the soothing sounds of the stream. *dreamy sigh*
10. vegetarians:
    Well, I am one. So, of course vegetarians interest me. We can trade tips and recipes. We can share meals together. Yay us!
